I wanted to take a moment to send you a note of thanks for inviting the ____________ family to Church Service this past Sunday.
Statistics say that most people who usually don't attend church would attend a service if they were ONLY invited. It is encouraging to see that you not only extended an invitation, but went out of your way to make their experience here at First Christian Church an enjoyable one.
Sometimes it seems so easy to simply sit back, and believe that people who need to be in Church will eventually just "show up". As you know, this is not the kind of mindset that Jesus had when He was here on earth as he moved from town to town, not only ministering to the masses, but also the individual who was in need as well.
I encourage you to follow up with your friend(s) to let them know how much you appreciate them taking you up on your invitation, and also to ask them if there is anything further you can do to assist them. Also, please know that if you need resources, or if they have questions concerning the Church, we are here to help.
Again, thank you for taking the time to show your concern for your friend(s), and I trust God will continue to give you great boldness as you share both your faith, and your desire to see others in the House of God!
What you have done reminds me of one of the disciples who wanted to share the Good News with his friend: John 1:45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, "We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote--Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph."
Keep up the great work!
In Christ,
Pastor John Doe
