Dear
I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father. - 2 John 1:4
Greetings in the precious name of the Lord! First, let me extend a heartfelt thank you for all of the work you do in our Sunday school. It is true that our children are the future, both in the world and in the church. The time you and the other teachers spend teaching them and nurturing them in the Lord is a true blessing to all of us.
Because teaching children can often present challenges and the need for fresh ideas is ever present, we will be holding a teachers meeting on 1/1/01 at 2:00 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. I am asking that all of our teachers make every effort to be present at the meeting.
I understand that schedules are tight and this is yet another item to add to an already busy life, but because our children and the work you do is so important I ask you to please do your best to attend. We need input, ideas, compliments and critiques from all of our faithful teachers.
I can’t emphasize enough the importance of what you do. In God’s eyes, your job is of the utmost importance for you are instill in the children the Word of God and allow them to grow into the young men and women that He desires they become.
If you have any questions about the meeting, or cannot make it, please contact the Sunday school director. I look forward to seeing you there.
In Christ,
Pastor John Doe
